Flavors of coffee
Today, coffee aficionados have more choices than ever when it comes to coffee flavors. Flavored coffee has become very popular, even among people who were not big coffee drinkers to begin with. As the demand for flavored coffee has increased, so have the options when it comes to choosing a flavor.
French vanilla, chocolate and hazelnut flavored coffees have been around for quite some time and remain popular choices today. The range of flavors available has expanded to include some decadent dessert flavors such as toasted caramel coffee, crème brulee, pecan pie, German chocolate cake, cinnamon swirl, and toasted almond, just to name a few.
In addition to the traditional and dessert flavors, there are some exciting new flavors of coffee available these days. While previously used mostly for tea, fruit flavors are now popular in coffee. Some of these, such as raspberry coffee, offer an entirely new taste sensation. Raspberry coffee is both tart and sweet, with a very delicate coffee flavor. Blueberry, coconut, black cherry and cranberry are a few of the other fruit flavors of coffee readily available.
Finally, there are the flavors of coffee which are reminiscent of liquors or cordials. These include varieties such as Irish cream, amaretto, and spiced rum.
Whether you are looking for a light fruit-flavored coffee for your afternoon coffee break, or a rich dessert coffee after dinner, there are more choices than ever before. You are sure to find the perfect one to suit both the occasion and your taste buds.
